Warning people of a growing fire hazard in a language universally understood.

Globally, we’ve seen an increasing number of fires caused by our everyday rechargeable items that are powered by Lithium-Ion batteries.

Fire and Emergency NZ wanted to raise awareness about how these fires can occur, particularly with people who don’t see potential danger in their everyday items. So we adopted Warning Labels - a universally understood and simple method of communicating danger.

We hijacked the sterile visuals and language of Warning Labels, with its simplicity connecting familiar electronics to danger.
